                      In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (5) of section 2A of Karnataka Cooperative Societies Act (Karnataka Act 11 of 1959) and in supersession of all previous notifications issued in this behalf, the Government of Karnataka hereby confers on the category of officers , in respects of Registrar of Cooperative Societies specified in column No. (2), the powers of the Registrar of Co-operative Societies under the provisions of the Karnataka Co-operative Societies Act, 1959 and the Karnataka Co-operative Societies Rules, 1960 specified in the corresponding entries in column No.(3), thereof, namely:-

All Cooperative Societies whose area of operation is less than a taluk and whose registered office is situated within the jurisdiction of the Deputy Registrar concerned
